Oct 04, 2018 · Also, idk mate about the sibilance issue you found on the dt990. I have heard it for about 5 hours total (since i loaned it from a friend of mine) and i didn’t notice much sibilance. As for the soundstage, i have both the hd6xx and hd58x and i can say that the 58x has a sloghtly wider soundstage than the hd6xx.

Similar to owners of HD800 (myself included) who have more or less adjusted to its sound plus now with the SDR mod (which makes the HD800 sound more like a HD800S by dealing with the hot treble spikes of the HD800).
